Independent instituteLive online cohorts for adults in work

Policy

Privacy and data

Data minimisation is the whole policy: the institute asks for what a reply requires and nothing further.

01

This website collects nothing

There is no account system, no login, no analytics profile built about you and no advertising technology on this site. The enquiry page does not submit anything to a server: it assembles a message and hands it to your own email application, so what you type stays on your device unless you choose to send it.

02

Enquiries sent by email

When you write to the admissions office, we hold your message and contact details in order to reply and, if you take a place, to administer your cohort. We do not sell, rent or share enquiry details with third parties for marketing, and we do not add enquirers to a mailing list.

03

What we do not ask for

We do not request identification documents, educational transcripts, health information, dates of birth, employer records or payment details at enquiry. Should you send such material unprompted, we will ask you to resend the enquiry without it.

04

Children

Verrow admits adults in work only. We do not knowingly collect information relating to anyone under 18, and we do not run programmes, communications or forms directed at children.

05

Compliance claims

We describe our own practice here rather than asserting certification under any particular data-protection regime. If you need to know how a specific legal framework applies to your enquiry before you write, ask the admissions office and we will answer plainly.

06

Correction and deletion

Write to the admissions office to ask what correspondence we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will confirm in writing when it is done.
